Angkor Archaeological Park, located in northern Cambodia is one of the most important archaeological sites is the world, stretching over some 400 square kilometres, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of several capitals of the Khmer Empire of the 9th to the 15th centuries, including the largest pre-industrial city in the world. The most famous are the Temple of Angkor Wat and, at Angkor Thom, the Bayon temple with its countless sculptural decorations of Buddha faces, Ta Prohm the Tomb Raider and vegetation temple overgrown by big giant trees etc...

Angkor Archaeological Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. At the same time, it was also placed on the List of World Heritage in Danger due to looting, a declining water table, and unsustainable tourism. UNESCO has now set up a wide-ranging programme to safeguard this symbolic site and its surroundings.

Angkor itself has no accommodations and few facilities; the nearby town of Siem Reap, just 7km to south, is the tourist hub for the area.

Tour Detail:

After breakfast we star tour from the hotel at 8:30am go to visit the first temple called Banteay Srei temple (Banteay Srei temple was built by Brahmin Yajnavaraha and his younger brother in 967 AD in the middle of 10^th century. Banteay Srei is just only temple in the Angkor period the was built of pink and yellow sandstone. The pink and yellow sandstone are high quality material more than the gray and green sandstone that used to build Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prom so on. As pink and yellow sandstone are so hard, that is why the carving of Banteay Srei are still good condition and very exquisite one. Then making everyone feel Banteay Srei temple very much).

The Second temple called Beng Mealea Temple (the temple generally attributed to the successor of Suryavarman II, Dharanindravarman II, the Bhuddist father of Jayavaraman VI. Beng Mealea was only re-opened to visited in the early 2000s after the painstaking task of cleaning it from landmine, which took years, was completed).

Break for lunch in the local restaurant 1hour. Then we go to visit the next temple called Rolouse Group. Rolouse grouse is another capital city in Angkor Peroid. This area we have three main temples to visit such as (Lo Lei temple, Preah Ko temple, Bakong temple).

The last sport we are going to visit Tonle Sap Lake Floating Village (Kompong Pluk/Kompong Kleang) for Sunset view. Then back to the hotel end of the day.
